An effective way to control birds in the long term is to modify their habitats, such as by getting rid of their food sources and cutting off their access to areas where they can nest and roost. I can shoot the birds .... but if more humane methods are prefered ... I can erect preventing netting on a small or large scale ..... Or proof any  entry point holes up... install spikes to prevent the roosting of pigeons and there mess falling unsightly below...
